PROCESSING TIME
We strive to process all orders within one or two business days (Monday-Friday). You will be notified if there will be a significant shipping delay. Orders are shipped from Connecticut (USA).
SHIPPING COSTS & METHODS
If you would like to order several products from our store, we offer shipping cost discounts all you have to do is email your order to us and we will send you a PAYPAL INVOICE.
All culture & yogurt starter orders are safely packed and shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS with the exception of our Pee Wee Books which are shipped directly from the Publisher via Standard Shipping method. All red worm orders are safely packed and shipped via USPS Priority Mail only (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: to ensure the worms well being). Priority Mail Domestic orders include delivery confirmation or tracking information which will be provided to you in the shipping confirmation e-mail. Please note, we reserve the right to upgrade your shipping method at no additional charge to you (upgrade UPS Ground to USPS Priority Mail, USPS Parcel Post to UPS Ground.
INTERNATIONAL/OVERSEAS ORDERS & SHIPPING
We can offer international shipping for a number of our products including Yogurt Starters, Buttermilk Starter, Dairy/Milk Kefir Grains, Water Kefir Grains and Kombucha (Dehydrated cultures). At this time all other products are not available for international shipping. All international orders will be sent via USPS First Class Mail/Ground/Regular Mail only (Delivery is between 7 to 14 days from shipping date to most countries) PLEASE EMAIL YOUR ORDER AT friendlyworm@hotmail.com for final shipping costs.
PAYMENT INFO
We accept credit card payments through Paypal. For your security, we do not accept credit card payment information over the phone, via e-mail, or snail mail.
We accept payments by check or money order as well. If that is the case please email friendlyworm@hotmail.com for more info.
!!!!RESPONSIBILITY FOR PRODUCT SHIPMENT !!!
Fresh cultures and red worms are particularly sensitive to heat (direct sunlight) so care should be taken to ensure that they are not left out in hot/sunny weather. Please be sure someone is at home to receive the package or leave a note for your mailman "asking to leave the package in a shaded area". If that is not possible, please let us know your phone number where the Postal Office could reach you once the package is there ready to be picked up by yourself.
Dehydrated cultures will be sent via USPS Standard Mail (First Class or Parcel Post whichever is available at the moment).
